It’s that time of the year again- pumpkin spice lattes and rainy, cold days. The weather can get a little erratic in Seattle this time of year, which makes dressing for the whole day a bit of a challenge. The days seems to go something like this: chilly morning commutes to work, sunny lunches, leaving work in the rain and finally, coming full circle, with chilly nights. Layering is going to be key which is why fall and spring are my favorite seasons for styling, so many options! Here are some of my October picks for you to sip on this fall season. Bomber jackets have been trendy these past few seasons and will continue to be your go to. I live in my ZARA Bomber day in and day out! It has been a clutch for those chilly, not sure if its going to rain or shine kind of days. Overall a great layering piece to get you through the workdays and weekend brewery hops. The denim jacket will be your layering goldmine! I’ve had my Topman jacket for about a year now and it’s been magical. Pair it with a hoodie underneath or on top and you have two looks right there. Add some spice to your work outfit by substituting your blazer with the denim jacket and you are ready to put some punk into your day. Lastly my favorite layer but yet I’m still missing a good one, a black leather jacket. Been on the hunt for one that speaks to me and doesn’t brake the bank. This is a great weekend or evening layer for you to stay warm but look cool. A simply black leather jacket is key here; it allows you to add any colors to complete the simplicity of the jacket. The silver zippers and buttons add flare turning a simple dress shirt to a bad ass look.
